John Hughes – Kia Sorento

Kia has a reputation of producing affordable family cars. However recently they have been carving a new reputation of producing next generation, quality family cars.

Kia’s next generation SUV Sorento wagon has got a new engine, body shape and is packed with safety features. On the outside the “new look” Sorento looks great, it has a more fluent shape and on the inside it looks just as good, also undergoing slight improvements.

Driver positioning is comfortable and high, importantly driver vision is enhanced by the additional height and lack of blind spots, reflection of thoughtful design.

The Kia comes with electronic safety enhancements including 6 airbags, Cruise control, ABS, Electronic Brake force Distribution, Downhill Brake Control and Hill Start Assist.

Hill Start Assist is great! When you are on a hill and you put the vehicle in to drive, the Sorento stays still until you apply the accelerator, stoping the vehicle rolling backwards.

The Kia is fitted with stuff to make you and your passengers drive more enjoyable and comfortable. You get MP3, IPod compatible surround sound stereo, Dual zone air-conditioning with rear vents, power windows and leather steering wheel which is both tilt and telescopic adjustable.

The Kia can seat up seven people, getting into the rear two seats is easy thanks to well designed forward folding rear seats. And when the rear seats aren’t needed they fold flat!
